USS San Diego / West Coast WWII Memorial
Collaborative artists Louis Quaintance and Eugene Daub were selected to create this uplifting national monument to enlighten the public to a compelling story of human struggle and sacrifice during WWII. After 5 years, completed in 2005. Awarded the Pinnacle Prize for design excellence.
