Japanese American Memorial
Sculptors Louis Quaintance and Eugene Daub partnered in every phase from design to construction of this emblematic public monument. Recognizing the hopes, struggles, and sacrifices of the Japanese Americans, this 10’ monument is comprised of three bronze panels dramatically executed in Alto-Relievo, or high bas relief modelling, bounded at it’s corners with rough hewn Masabi Granite.
